Thank You

Hello one and all
It's Monday and a new start to the week.  I had an excellent start to the day.  Went to Crossfit and had a very good workout.  Will have to show you all what I did to my wrist straps to personalise them.  Here's a simple thank you card that I put together that's going into the challenge on
http://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com.au/

The image was from SU using Momento ink to stamp the image,  water colour crayons, blender pen to blend the colours and a little bit of Sakura glitter pen to highlight the daisies.  I used water colour cardstock, net lacing ribbon for a little embellishment.  A SU punch for the window, free handed the "thank you".  The grass border was done free handed as well.

Apples

Hi everyone,
It's Sunday and the sun is shining.  Went out to lunch today and I think I better give dinner a miss.  Too much yummy food.  I've stamped a SU image using Momento ink and used water colour crayons and a blender pen.  I also used the blender pen and feathered it with the SU markers to colour as well.  Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped nestabilities were used.  SU punches, alhapbet was from Fancy That dies.

Birthday

Hi everyone,
The pic for the card does not do it justice for the colour.  The back ground pink is a beautiful pearl finish.  Something simple I put together for the challenge on

Early this morning there was a massive clap of thunder that had the family dog up and banging on the back door.  Of course I opened the door and she just bolts inside.  From such a hot day yesterday we've had a pretty cool start to the day.  I did make another card for this challenge but ended up making this one as well. So it's going into the challenge on

Fall colours

Hi all,
Now I had to stamp quite a few different stamps to workout what I wanted to do with image.
I came across a Tim Holtz stamp that I thought would fit into a few of the challenges running this week.
I stamp the back ground with script and used distress inks to colour in the image.  Btw I stamped the image and used white embossing powder to enhance the image.  Fancy That die leaves, and the butterflies were from SU.   A bit of washi tape to finish off the card

Ello ladies and gents,
It's been an awesome weekend starting last Friday night.  I got to go up to Toowoomba and work at the Carnival of Flowers again.  Will post some pics of the beautiful gardens on display.  The Wine and Music show had great atmosphere and there was so much people enjoying the live music.  Some of the acts included the The Bee Gee's tribute band and boy did they rock.  They played all the fave and sounded fantastic.  Kate Ceberano, The Whitlams,  Katie Noonan and many more bands.
Here's a card I've made that's going into the challenges in

Bunch of flowers

Good Morning y'all
Some days are great and this will be one of them apart from a niggling throat I've got.  :(  I think I'm coming down with a cold and not happy Jan.  One of the lovely ladies started sneezing at the camp next to me and now I think I've got her cold.
Anywayz I've made this card for one of the ladies at the camp cause she saved my life by having an extra blanket she didn't need.  I forgot to bring an underlay and had only a cotton sheet between me and a plastic mattress the first night.  Not the best of sleeps and it was a cold night too.

The techniques used for this easel card was rolling die cut flowers, inking the edges of the petals,  shaping petals to how I wanted them to sit.  I'm working at the Stitches and Craft show so I'll be doing a lot of these lovely flowers for the 4 days.

So into the challenge at

Happy 4

Radahhhh, It's only Monday and a great start to getting those challenges going.
This one is going into the challenges on

I made this background using water colour paper at the craft camp.  Lol not that I really did much for the couple of days except muck around with different ways to use my stash of goodies.
I coloured a flower stamp using watercolour crayons and then spritz the stamp before stamping the paper.
I used the  paper to soak up the excess water that was on my craft mat.  That's where the blurred images come into effect.  I used Brilliance inks to colour the half circle doily.  I love how this card turned out.

Oh Baby

Hiya one n' all,

The rain has finally fallen after many days of dry weather.  I had a most excellent weekend away with a group of ladies crafting at a retreat where all our delicious meals were prepared for us.  There was enough for seconds if you so desired.  :D  Thank goodness I only go to camp once a year, cause my scales always say one at a time please when I come home and this is only for the weekend too.  Did I create a lot cards,   :D sadly no, but I did have a VERY good time chatting, and helping the ladies with how to use varies tools and what you could do with them.  So consultation fees will be in the mail.  So the boot full of the crafting stuff was mainly used by everyone but me.

So back to the card at large.  I got to to use all the other stuff the ladies brought with me so wasn't too bad exchange in the end.  I embossed a whole heap of pearl cardstock with clouds, die cut flip cards, die cut butterflies and hearts.

I'll be entering this card into the challenges

Ciao bellas,
Hope the day has started well for you all.  Another beautiful day in the Sunshine state and we're suppose to be getting 32 degrees today.  This weekend is my scrap camp.  Lol  all the time for crafting, chatting, chatting and having a very good time.  All the meals are cooked for us including morning, afternoon and supper as well.  Mmmm I wonder if I'll go hungry.  :D
Just realised I had already made a card for a challenge I thought I had entered.

Happy

Happy Monday everyone,
Can you believe we're already in the month of September and the school term is about to end in 2 weeks.
Days are just glorious with the temp in the mid 20s and higher.
I apologise for not putting regular posts up lately.  Work has been full on and I've been trying to do samples for the up and coming October Stitches and Craft Show here in Brisbane.  I've also made name cards for the Toowoomba Flower Carnival.
I've folded a small paper doiley in half, ink the edges of the flower, cover white card stock with washi tapes and the die cut the word happy out.
I'll be entering this card into the challenge over on
